Teeing off Golf Gin - Now available in Waitrose

If you’ve ever wondered what the flora from the hallowed grounds of St Andrews’ Old Course taste like in liquid form, wonder no more. Our new-look Golf Gin is a spirited homage to the “Home of Golf”, crafted with botanicals foraged straight from the iconic Old Course.

Gorse, lavender and heather give Golf Gin an un-mistakable heady floral edge, transporting you to the fairways. The briny whisper of seaweed reminds you that you're on a Links Course on the east coast of Scotland.

Nose: Juniper breezes through heady lavender and spruce, with a salty whisper of Fife's east coast.
Taste: Bold juniper leads, sweetened by gorse which has a coconut profile.
Finish: A peppery finish is accompanied by juniper and candied lavender.

Peek at the label on our new bottle and you’ll uncover 'easter eggs' linking to St Andrews and the town's rich golfing lore. Spot the Swilcan Bridge (golf’s most iconic landmark), a fluttering golf flag, and our distillery’s three-peaked silhouette.

Look closer and you'll spot a cheeky sheep grazing the fairways. A nod to the farming past of this strip of land, and the humble creature responsible for the creation of bunkers!

The mysterious key to room 269: what’s the story behind this you ask? Tiger took 269 stokes to win his first Open Championship in St Andrews. Ever since the win in 2000, he would request to stay in room 269 at the Old Course Hotel!

Seen from the 6th hole on this hallowed course, the Golf Gin is distilled in our brand new distillery with a still powered by 100% renewable energy, sourced from the University of St Andrews’ solar farm and other eco-friendly grids.

And guess what? You can now find Golf Gin in Waitrose stores UK-wide – our first national listing. For a limited time, we're running an neck tag promotion which will give one lucky winner the chance to win 2x tickets to the Genesis Scottish Open - so stop past your local store today!
