2018 Single Malt Whisky - Limited Release - £110
Following the success of our PX Single Cask - which sold out in less than 24 - hours we wanted to reward our dedicated whisky fans with a rare vintage bottling from the beginning of our whisky journey.
Launched on St Andrews Day six years ago, our 2018 Single Malt was one of our first ever releases and, at just 3,200 bottles, stocks today are few and far between. We held back a small quantity for our archives when we open the new distillery.
This Single Malt is a vatting of whisky distilled from Golden Promise and Propino barley matured in a selection of cask types, including ex-Oloroso hogsheads, ex-Bourbon barrels, and ex-Pedro Ximénez octave casks.
Bottled at 46.5% abv, it has delicate notes of barley sugar, hazelnut and fruit sweetness on the nose. On the palate, it’s sweet and juicy with stone fruits and a wave of sherried fruitcake.
On the finish, a warming, oaky spice is complemented by vanilla, raisin and fig.
